Multifunctional units with scanning, copying and printing functionality typically work use the same functional mechanisms as in mono-functional systems, but are combined in a multifunctional system architecture that allows efficient processes and document flow within the system, including the ability combine functionality in one task, or use multiple functionality simultaneously for different tasks.
